NETFLIX | Casting summary

So, if I'm not mistaken, the NETFLIX casting now includes:

• Carla Gugino [IMDB]
• Elizabeth Reaser [IMDB]
• Henry Thomas [IMDB]
• Kate Siegel [IMDB]
• Lulu Wilson [IMDB]
• Mckenna Grace [IMDB]
• Michael Huisman [IMDB]
• Oliver Jackson-Cohen [IMDB]
• Timothy Hutton [IMDB]
• Victoria Pedretti [IMDB]
• Violet McGraw [IMDB]

I wonder why so many children are involved. In Shirley Jackson's book, they have a minor role :

• During the summary of the history of the house and the introduction of the previous family who lived there
• The little girl refusing to drink her milk in her cup of stars
• The family having a pick-nick is the "not so normal" garden

Let's wait and see!
